In most cases, you don’t need a doctor’s prescription in order to get started with a physical therapy program. In fact, most private insurance companies don’t require you to obtain a doctor’s referral at all.

The therapist will talk to you about your condition; such as where it hurts, what makes it hurt and what makes it feel better. It is of utmost importance that you are compliant with the program your Physical Therapist has designed for you. Equally important, you need to keep all your scheduled appointments in order for rehabilitation to be complete.

Every insurance is different. It is important to contact your provider to find out benefits for out-patient Physical Therapy. Our Front Office Coordinator will also contact them on your first visit to confirm benefits. It is your responsibility, however, to keep track of your benefits and limits. Yes, we will collect your co-pay at the beginning of each appointment.

Yes we do, provided the auto accident claim isn’t third party. We also bill worker’s compensation claims. All we need from you is the insurance company to be billed, their address, phone number, claim number and adjustor name. Should the insurance company deny the claim, your account balance will be your responsibility.
